When we receive the e-mail from the UKIPO with the registration certificate, we need to do the following:
- Enter the registration date and number in Grant/Reg on the details page. it is best to enter the number in full in the form used by the ipo, viz.: UK0000NNNNNNN.
- On the Charges tab, add 5020 from the charge sheet and generate an invoice – save it as finalised and as a pdf, so that you can readily add it to the reporting e-mail.
- Generate the Trademark Reporting Registration e-mail and attach the invoice and the registration certificate.
- Before you send it, also attach Fact Sheet T09 Correct Usage of Trademarks.
- Check that the Intermediate Follow Up task has been set for 2 years’ time and that the renewal reminder tasks are also set up.
