When a Madrid registration is coming up for renewal, do the following:
- note the designated countries and the number of classes;
- go to the WIPO Madrid fee calculator and choose from “Type of transaction” Renewal;
- enter the countries and number of classes and then save the calculation result as a pdf and add it to the file documents;
- enter the total CHF cost as a new official fee charge and calculate the sterling equivalent, rounding up to the nearest pound;
- add from the charge sheet 5460 renewal of the International registration;
- put the total cost into the standard renewal reminder e-mail.
